Delicious Apple Cider Doughnut Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Cake

01 - 1 (15.25 ounce) box Yellow cake mix or Spice Cake Mix (I used Betty Crocker Yellow Super Moist; for a stronger fall taste, use Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix)
02 - 1 cup apple cider (NOT apple juice and NOT apple cider vinegar)
03 - ½ cup apple sauce (we used cinnamon apple sauce, not chunky)
04 - 3 large eggs, room temperature
05 - ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (add more if you like it really cinnamony!)
06 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping

08 - 2 tablespoons cinnamon (adjust to your preference)
09 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
10 - ¼ cup melted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, beat the dry cake mix, apple cider, apple sauce, and eggs until well combined. Add the cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the batter and mix well.
03 - Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured bundt pan. Place the pan on the center rack and bake for 40-45 minutes. Test with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon with the granulated sugar.
05 - Once the cake has cooled, brush the entire surface with melted butter. Rub the cinnamon sugar mixture onto the cake until evenly coated.
