Cheesy Sausage Breakfast Crescents (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
02 - 2 tubes crescent roll dough

→ Cheese & Seasonings

03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Egg Wash

07 - 1 egg, beaten (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
02 - Combine cooked sausage with both cheeses, garlic powder, and pepper until well mixed.
03 - Place sausage mixture on wide end of each crescent triangle, roll up, and place seam-side down on baking sheet.
04 - Brush with beaten egg if desired, then bake at 375°F for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
