Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce (Print Version)

01 - 1 package (12 oz) cheese tortellini
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 large onion, sliced
04 - 1 pound beef steak, cubed
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper
07 - 1 cup beef broth
08 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until they are tender.
03 - Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cubed beef steak. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the beef is browned.
04 - Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring it to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
05 - Reduce the heat to low, add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, and toss everything together.
06 - Sprinkle the provolone cheese over the top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
07 - Serve the dish hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.

01 - You can substitute the beef steak with chicken or turkey.
02 - Other types of pasta can be used if you don’t have tortellini on hand.
03 - Mozzarella or a cheese blend can replace the provolone.
