Chicken Caesar Croissant Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken Filling

01 - 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped (rotisserie chicken works great)
02 - 1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing
03 - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional for extra tang)
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
07 - 1/2 cup crisp romaine lettuce, chopped
08 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced (optional)

→ For Assembly

09 - 4 fresh croissants, split in half
10 - Extra Parmesan cheese shavings for garnish
11 - Fresh lemon wedges for serving (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, combine your shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix everything until the chicken is well coated.
02 - Split your croissants in half and lay them out. Line the bottom half of each croissant with some crisp romaine lettuce.
03 - Spoon plenty of the chicken Caesar mixture over the lettuce. If you're using them, add some sliced cherry tomatoes for a fresh pop of flavor.
04 - Top each sandwich with some Parmesan shavings, add the croissant tops, and serve with lemon wedges on the side if you like.
