Creamy Chicken Mozzarella Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins

01 - 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

→ Pasta & Sauce Base

02 - 8 ounces penne pasta
03 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
04 - 1 cup heavy cream
05 - 1 cup chicken broth

→ Cheese & Herbs

06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
09 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

→ Seasonings & Oil

10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
11 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
12 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
13 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Cook penne pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil for 5-6 minutes per side until done. Rest before slicing.
03 - Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in oil, add tomatoes, cream, and broth. Simmer 5-7 minutes until thickened.
04 - Add pasta and chicken to sauce, stir in cheeses and basil until melted. Garnish with herbs and serve hot.

01 - Can substitute dried basil for fresh
02 - Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat
