01 -
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
02 -
Open the cinnamon roll cans and set aside the icing. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place the pieces evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
03 -
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until thoroughly combined.
04 -
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they are all coated. Use a spatula to gently press down the mixture to help absorb the liquid.
05 -
Drizzle the maple syrup over the top of the casserole, distributing it evenly.
06 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
07 -
While the casserole is baking, warm the icing from the cinnamon roll cans until it can be easily drizzled (you can do this in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds).
08 -
Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the warm icing on top, then add fresh berries if using. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm with extra maple syrup on the side.
