Quick Creamy Bacon Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or spaghetti)
02 - 8 slices bacon, chopped

→ Sauce

03 - 2 tbsp butter
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
06 - 1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
07 - 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese

→ Seasonings

08 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
09 - 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - Salt, to taste
11 - 1/4 cup (15g) chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta until al dente, reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
02 - Cook chopped bacon until crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove bacon, leave 2 tbsp fat in pan.
03 - Sauté garlic in butter, add cream and broth. Simmer and stir in Parmesan until smooth.
04 - Add pasta and bacon to sauce, toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed. Season and garnish with parsley.

01 - Add vegetables like mushrooms or peas if desired
02 - Make it spicier with extra red pepper flakes
03 - Keeps in fridge for up to 3 days
