Spicy Creamy Cajun Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
02 - 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
03 - 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
04 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Vegetables

05 - 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
06 - 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Sauce

08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 1 cup chicken broth
10 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Garnish

12 - Fresh parsley, chopped
13 - Extra Parmesan cheese (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning. Heat oil in skillet and cook chicken 5-7 minutes until golden. Set aside.
02 - In same skillet, sauté bell peppers and garlic 2-3 minutes until slightly soft.
03 - Add cream, broth, and remaining Cajun seasoning. Simmer while pasta cooks.
04 - Add cooked pasta, chicken, and Parmesan to the sauce. Toss until well coated. Season with salt and pepper.

02 - Can use half-and-half for a lighter sauce
