Rich Garlic Cream Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (6 oz each)
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
04 - Salt and pepper to taste
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter

→ Sauce

06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
07 - 6 garlic cloves, minced
08 - 1 cup chicken broth
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
12 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
13 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
02 - Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F).
03 - In same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant. Add broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add cream, Parmesan, seasonings, and red pepper flakes. Cook 3-4 minutes until thickened. Return chicken to pan and warm through.

# Notes:

01 - Can use half-and-half for a lighter sauce
02 - Try adding spinach or mushrooms
03 - Leftovers keep for 3 days in fridge
