# Ingredients:

→ Churro Dough

01 - 1 cup water
02 - 2 ½ tbsp granulated sugar
03 - ½ tsp salt
04 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour

→ For Frying

06 - 2 quarts vegetable oil

→ Coating

07 - ½ cup granulated sugar
08 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
02 - Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the flour until smooth. Let the dough cool for 10 minutes.
03 - In a large pan, heat 2 quarts of oil to 375°F (190°C) for frying.
04 - Transfer the cooled dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
05 - Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil. Fry for 2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
06 - Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Toss the fried churros in the mixture until fully coated.

# Notes:

01 - Let the dough cool before piping to avoid melting the piping bag.
02 - Use a kitchen thermometer to maintain the oil temperature at 375°F (190°C).
03 - Serve warm for the best texture. Pair with chocolate sauce for dipping!
