Cheesy Garlic Steak Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - A fresh, crusty French baguette
02 - 1 pound of thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak, the star of our show

→ Aromatics & Vegetables

03 - 2 plump cloves of fresh garlic, finely minced
04 - A colorful mix of sliced bell peppers, about 1 cup
05 - 1 medium onion, sliced into perfect strips

→ Cheese

06 - 1 cup of melty shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven nice and hot by preheating it to 375°F (190°C). This temperature will give us that perfect golden-brown crust and melty cheese.
02 - Heat up your skillet and let those colorful peppers and onions dance in some olive oil for about 5-7 minutes until they're soft and fragrant.
03 - Time for the star ingredients! Toss in your thinly sliced steak and minced garlic, cooking just until the meat is beautifully browned but still tender - about 4-5 minutes is perfect.
04 - Take your baguette and give it a careful slice lengthwise, but don't cut all the way through - we want it to hold all the goodness! Hollow out some of the inside to make room for our filling.
05 - Load up each half of your baguette with that mouthwatering steak mixture, then crown it with a generous layer of cheese.
06 - Pop it in the oven on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10-12 minutes, or until that cheese is perfectly melted and bubbly.
