Greek Meatballs with Yogurt Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Meatballs

01 - 1 pound lean ground turkey
02 - ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - ¼ cup finely chopped onion
06 - ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
09 - ½ teaspoon salt
10 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
11 - Olive oil for cooking

→ For the Tzatziki

12 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
13 - ½ cucumber, grated and drained
14 - 1 clove garlic, minced
15 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
16 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
17 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
18 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well but don't overwork. Roll into small meatballs.
02 - Choose your cooking method: Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, pan-fry 4-5 minutes per side, or air fry at 380°F for 10-12 minutes.
03 - Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using paper towels or cheesecloth.
04 - Mix Greek yogurt, drained cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Chill for best flavor.
05 - Serve meatballs hot with a generous side of tzatziki sauce. Great with pita bread or rice!
