Easy Homemade Beef Goulash (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Sauce & Liquids

05 - 15 ounce can tomato sauce
06 - 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
07 - 1½ cups beef broth
08 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Seasonings

09 - 1 teaspoon paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
12 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Toppings

13 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
14 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned. Drain most of the fat, leaving about a tablespoon.
02 - Toss in diced onion and garlic. Cook with the beef for 2-3 minutes until softened.
03 - Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings. Bring to a simmer.
04 - Stir in macaroni, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender, stirring now and then.
05 - Mix in half the cheese if using, sprinkle rest on top. Cover until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
