Cinnamon Sugar Gooey Dessert (Print Version)

01 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 3/4 cup whole milk
03 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
04 - 1 1/2 cups sugar
05 - 1 1/2 cups flour
06 - 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
07 - 3/4 teaspoon salt
08 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
09 - 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
10 - 1 1/2 cups hot water

11 - 1/4 cup sugar
12 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread melted butter in a 9x13 baking pan.
02 - Whisk milk, vanilla, and sugar in a large bowl. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; whisk until just combined.
03 - Spoon batter over butter, careful not to mix. Sprinkle brown sugar over batter. Gently pour hot water over the batter and sugar.
04 - Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and mostly set.
05 - Mix topping sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over hot cobbler. Let cool slightly before serving.

01 - Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
02 - Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
