Sweet and Sticky Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 500 g (1 lb) chicken thighs or breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 2 tbsp cornstarch
03 - 1/2 tsp salt
04 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
05 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil

→ For the Sauce

06 - 1/3 cup honey
07 - 3 tbsp soy sauce
08 - 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
09 - 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
10 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
11 - 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)
12 - 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

→ For Garnish

13 - Toasted sesame seeds
14 - Sliced green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly coated.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken pieces in a single layer for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
03 - Reduce heat to medium. Combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in the same skillet. Simmer and add cornstarch slurry until thickened.
04 - Return chicken to skillet and toss in sauce. Heat through for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
