04 - 1 sprig rosemary
05 - 2 teaspoons olive oil

→ For the Shrimp

06 - 12 shrimp, deveined and peeled
07 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
08 - 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 teaspoon pepper
11 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
12 - 1 teaspoon paprika

→ For the Sauce

13 - 1 tablespoon butter
14 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
15 - ¼ cup heavy cream
16 - 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
17 - Chopped parsley, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Take the tenderloin filets out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature. This helps them cook more evenly. Just before cooking, season all sides generously with salt and pepper.
02 - Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot and shimmering, carefully place the steaks in the pan. Let them sear undisturbed for about 8 minutes until they develop a beautiful golden-brown crust on one side.
03 - Flip the steaks over to the other side. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the butter, sliced garlic, and rosemary sprig to the pan. As the butter melts, use a spoon to baste the steaks continuously with the butter mixture for about 8 minutes more. Cook until the internal temperature reaches about 125°F for medium-rare or to your preferred doneness.
04 - Remove the steaks from the skillet and wrap them loosely in aluminum foil. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes so the juices can redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring a tender, juicy steak.
05 - While the steaks are resting, prepare the shrimp. In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated. Using the same skillet you cooked the steaks in (no need to clean it), add a teaspoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes, turning once, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
06 - Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add a tablespoon of butter to the same skillet. Once melted, pour in the soy sauce and heavy cream, stirring constantly while scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it begins to thicken slightly. Stir in the red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
07 - To serve, place the cooked shrimp on each plate, top with a rested steak filet, and generously drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over everything. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for color and a touch of freshness. This dish pairs wonderfully with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables for a complete gourmet meal.

# Notes:

01 - For a more accurate cooking time, use a meat thermometer. For medium-rare, aim for 125-130°F, medium 135-140°F, and medium-well 145-150°F.
02 - You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes in the sauce to suit your preference for spiciness.
03 - For the best texture, be sure not to overcook the shrimp. They cook very quickly and continue cooking slightly after being removed from the heat.
04 - This dish is perfect for special occasions like anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or any time you want to create a restaurant-quality meal at home.
