Juicy Texas Style Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons butter
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Seasoning Mix

05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
09 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
10 - Salt, to taste

→ Honey Mustard Sauce

11 - 1 tablespoon honey
12 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
13 - 1 teaspoon whole-grain mustard

→ Garnish

14 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 400°F (200°C). Meanwhile, coat those chops with all the seasonings.
02 - Heat up that skillet with olive oil until it's nice and hot. Sear the pork chops until they're golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.
03 - Pull out the chops, turn down the heat, and toss in garlic, honey, and both mustards. Stir until it thickens up, about 2-3 minutes.
04 - Drop in the butter and minced garlic, let it cook until you can really smell that garlic, about 1-2 minutes.
05 - Pop the skillet in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the chops hit 145°F inside. Let them rest 5 minutes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Marinate the chops overnight for even more flavor
02 - 145°F is the sweet spot for juicy, perfectly cooked pork
03 - Goes great with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies
