Sweet Puerto Rican Vanilla Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Dough

01 - 4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
06 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ For the Topping

09 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - 1 tablespoon melted butter, for brushing

# Instructions:

01 - Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it gets foamy and bubbly.
02 - Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix in flour gradually until a soft dough forms.
03 - Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until doubled.
04 - Punch down the risen dough and roll it into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
05 - Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
06 - Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter right after baking. Let cool slightly before serving.
