Refreshing Watermelon Smoothie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups fresh watermelon
02 - 2 cups frozen strawberries
03 - 2 frozen bananas
04 - Juice and zest of half a lime
05 - 2 tablespoons vegan yogurt
06 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender, starting with the watermelon.
02 - Cover the blender with a lid and blend on high speed. Use a tamper to help push the fruit towards the blade if needed.
03 - Pour your smoothie into a glass or into a hollowed-out watermelon rind for a fun presentation.

# Notes:

01 - You can adjust the creaminess of your smoothie by adding a small amount of water. Start with 1/4 cup and add more as needed.
02 - To serve the smoothie in a watermelon rind, use a mini watermelon. Cut it in half, scoop out the flesh, and level off one end so it sits flat. Scoop the smoothie into the makeshift bowl.
03 - If you're not a fan of bananas, you can replace them with frozen zucchini. Peel the zucchini, cut it into small chunks, and freeze for later use.
