Easy baked ham rollups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pinwheels

01 - 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 8 slices of deli ham
03 - 8 slices of Swiss cheese (or your favorite cheese)
04 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
05 - 1 tablespoon melted butter
06 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out the crescent roll dough on a clean surface, pressing the seams together to form a single sheet.
03 - Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the dough, if using.
04 - Layer the ham slices over the dough, covering the entire surface. Follow with the cheese slices.
05 - Starting from one long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log.
06 - Slice the log into 1-inch pinwheels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds, if desired.
08 - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
09 - Serve warm and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - You can use honey mustard or mayonnaise instead of Dijon mustard for a different flavor.
02 - Substitute Swiss cheese with cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack for variety.
03 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
