Puff Pastry Cinnamon Twists (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
03 - ¼ cup brown sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
02 - Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Gently roll it with a rolling pin to remove any creases. Brush the melted butter over the entire surface of the puff pastry using a pastry brush.
03 - In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the dough and gently pat it down to adhere to the butter.
04 - Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry sheet from top to bottom into 12 thin strips. Twist each strip about five or six times, ensuring the cinnamon layer faces inward. If you're having trouble, try starting the twist around your finger to get the plain side facing out.
05 - Place the twists 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until lightly browned.
06 - Serve the cinnamon twists warm or at room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - One sheet of puff pastry should be sliced into 12 thin strips. Thicker or shorter strips may unravel completely when baked.
02 - These twists are best enjoyed the same day but will keep for up to two days in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
