Fruity Tequila Sour Cocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 oz silver or blanco tequila (a good-quality bottle makes all the difference)
02 - 1 oz passionfruit juice (fresh if possible, or a high-quality bottled version)
03 - 1 oz raspberry syrup (homemade or store-bought, see note below)
04 - ¾ oz freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 juicy lime)
05 - ½ oz simple syrup (optional, adjust to your sweetness preference)

→ For the Foam

06 - 1 egg white (or 1 oz aquafaba for a vegan-friendly froth)

→ For Serving

07 - Ice cubes (for shaking)
08 - Fresh raspberries (for garnish)
09 - Lime wedge or zest (for a citrusy finish)

# Instructions:

01 - Juice the lime until you have ¾ oz of fresh juice. Measure out the tequila, passionfruit juice, raspberry syrup, and simple syrup (if using). If making homemade raspberry syrup, follow the quick recipe in the notes below.
02 - In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, passionfruit juice, raspberry syrup, lime juice, and egg white (or aquafaba). Shake hard without ice for 15-20 seconds—this creates that luxurious foam.
03 - Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15-20 seconds. This chills the drink and balances the flavors with a little dilution.
04 - Double-strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or martini glass (this ensures a silky texture without ice shards). Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lime wedge for a pop of color.
05 - Take a moment to admire the beautiful foam before sipping. The tangy passionfruit, sweet raspberry, and smooth tequila should dance on your palate.

# Notes:

01 - For homemade raspberry syrup: Simmer ½ cup raspberries, ½ cup sugar, and ½ cup water for 5-7 mins. Strain and cool before using.
02 - If you prefer less sweetness, reduce or omit the simple syrup—the raspberry syrup already adds sugar.
03 - For extra flair, lightly torch a rosemary sprig as garnish—it adds a smoky aroma!
